Estimated, not guaranteed, processing time
The processing time shown for each tier (standard, priority, urgent) is our estimate of how long our own review and submission usually takes. It is not a guarantee of how long the issuing government authority will take to decide your application, which can take longer for reasons outside our control.
We don't decide the outcome
The decision to approve or refuse a travel authorisation, and any request for extra documents or an interview, is made solely by the issuing government authority. We cannot expedite, influence or guarantee that decision.
Delays outside our control
Public holidays, high application volumes, system outages at the issuing authority, incomplete information, and additional security or document checks can all extend processing beyond our estimate. We will tell you if we become aware of such a delay.
What happens if you're refused
If the issuing authority refuses your application, the government fee is generally not refundable by them; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for when our service fee is refundable in that situation. Refused applicants should check the authority's own guidance on reapplying.
Always allow a buffer
Apply well before you plan to travel. Do not book non-refundable flights or accommodation before your travel authorisation is approved.
